7 fitness laws which you need to know !!!

Surely you’ve noticed that some fitness trainers have the ability to do great athletes and sports people. This is not a coincidence because they are driven by the 7 laws of fitness . They understand those laws and they apply them to each program.

What are these laws?

There are several laws which you must follow. These are not recommendations, suggestions or tips, but laws.

And no one is above the law, right?

We all have different abilities, different bodies, different strengths and weaknesses, and each of us reacts differently (to some extent) to the same fitness or bodybuilding program. Therefore all these differences should be taken into account when making a fitness or bodybuilding program.

Nature compensates. When you do exercises with difficulties later you will have bigger and stronger muscles.

In order to get better results you must stress your muscles more than they are used to. If during every workout you train with the same intensity after a while the muscles are getting used to it.

  1. LAW OF SAID- (a specific adaptation instructed demand).

Each muscle or body reacts differently to different levels of intensity.

This means that when overloaded the muscles are hypertrophied and when not used they are atrophied.

  1. LAW OF SAD (syndrome of adaptation).

This law says that after a workout with high intensity there must be a period of low intensity or rest to allow your body to regenerate and compensate.

This law says that in order to be better in a discipline you should do exercises that will help you achieving it. If you want to be better at doing squats then you should do squats, do not use the press. If you want to run a marathon then you should jogs every day. You cannot become better at running the marathon by doing squats.

Top 10 Dangerous Bodybuilding Habits

Over the past few years, there has been a lot of hype in the media regarding the risks associated with the popular fat-burning supplement, ephedrine. Unfortunately, the ephedrine controversy is only the tip of the iceberg. There are many deep, dark secrets in the fitness and bodybuilding worlds that remain largely unspoken of.

In addition to taking on such chemical risks, bodybuilders, gym rats and other athletes adopt various training habits believed to enhance performance and results. Ironically, many of these practices can actually be detrimental to one’s health and even potentially fatal. It’s time to shed light on some of these serious practices.

Number 10

Not stretching

Why it’s dangerous: It’s no secret that neglecting to stretch before and after a workout can lead to injuries such as muscle tears, yet many serious athletes still skip this essential step. The benefits of the flexibility that can be gained through stretching are multiple: it prevents injury, increases range of motion, enhances performance and posture, reduces stress, and keeps the body loose and agile.

What to do instead: Stretch for about 10 minutes before and after your workout, as well as briefly between weightlifting sets.

Number 9

Why it’s dangerous: Many athletes train on an empty stomach because they believe that they will burn more fat. The logic behind this unhealthy habit is that the body will use fat reserves as fuel for a workout if there is no food to burn.

The fact is that your body uses carbs as its main source of energy during training. So not only can your performance be hindered by working out on an empty stomach, but doing so can also lead to such side effects as low blood sugar jitters, dizziness and even loss of consciousness.

What to do instead: 30 to 60 minutes before your workout, eat a small, easily digestible meal composed of complex carbs, such as fruits, vegetables, whole-grain bread, rice, or pasta.

Number 8

Having bad form

Why it’s dangerous: There are many ways in which bad form in weightlifting can be dangerous. For example, executing movements too fast — such as dropping the bench press weight to your sternum and quickly popping it back up to the start position — can be very detrimental to your tendons and ligaments, as they absorb all the pressure. Another common mistake involves using your lower back to gain momentum to lift the weight, which can be extremely harmful.

What to do instead: The best way to ensure that you have proper form is to ask a trainer or spotter to observe you during a workout. If you are uncertain about the way you are performing certain exercises, you may want to consider a few sessions with a personal trainer.

You can have too much of a good thing…

Number 7

Why it’s dangerous: Many serious athletes become so obsessed with working out that they end up training too often and not taking enough “rest days” between workouts. This can lead to general fatigue, irritability, moodiness, depression, anxiety, decreased appetite, weight loss, nausea, and upset stomach. On top of these symptoms, athletes can also suffer from persistent muscle and joint pain, increased incidence of injury, slowed reaction time, impaired coordination, increased vulnerability to infectious diseases, decreased exercise performance, and more.

What to do instead: Listen to your body. You should feel more energetic after a workout; if you are feeling fatigued and sore, reevaluate your routine. Allow for adequate rest periods between workouts in order to let your muscle tissue rebuild. The amount of rest needed between workouts varies from person to person, so monitor your body’s signals.

Number 6

Eating too much protein

Why it’s dangerous: In the off-season, bodybuilders typically eat 1.25 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight each day. Before competitions, many increase their protein intake to 1.75 to 2.0 g per pound. However, eating too much protein can have many negative effects. First, it may lead to higher levels of homocysteine, a by-product of protein metabolism and an independent risk factor for heart disease. Moreover, having too much protein in your body can cause irreversible kidney damage and increase your risk of osteoporosis.

What to do instead: Nutritionists generally say that no one, not even bodybuilders, should consume more than 1.7 g of protein per pound of body weight a day. Keep in mind that this is the upper limit if you’re training hard ; if you’re training only slightly or moderately, your protein intake should be closer to 0.8 to 1.0 gram per pound.

Number 5

Why it’s dangerous: Many bodybuilders try to “sweat out” the last few pounds to fit into the right weight class before a competition. Their tactics include doing crazy stuff like stationary biking in a sauna or taking diuretics, which are unhealthy even if they are “herbal.” For extra dehydration in order to make muscles bulge as much as possible, some bodybuilders even have a glass of wine right before going onstage.

Dehydration is dangerous for many reasons. First, it increases your chances of cramping up — some bodybuilders have frozen in a pose during competitions and have had to be carried out on a stretcher. It also puts severe strain on your internal organs, your kidneys in particular, and affects your mental capacity.

What to do instead: Drink 20 ounces of water to ensure adequate hydration one to two hours before training. Have another 3 to 6 oz every 15 to 30 minutes during your workout. When you’re done, drink 2 cups of water for every pound of weight lost.

Number 4

Taking dangerous stimulants

Why it’s dangerous: The risks associated with ephedrine, including heart palpitations, heart attack and stroke, have been well-documented in the media; even though the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently lifted the ban on ephedrine, these risks are still present. In addition, there are many other dangerous stimulants on the market. Even “ephedrine-free” fat burners contain ingredients with very similar effects. For example, a popular component of many fat burners is Ma Huang , the plant from which ephedrine is derived and which can be just as dangerous. Many runners, bodybuilders and other athletes take these supplements to “enhance” their performance without realizing their potential hazardous effects.

What to do instead: If you insist on taking a “performance enhancing” supplement, read the ingredient list very carefully and avoid ingredients such as ephedrine, ephedra, Ma Huang, and bitter orange. If you are uncertain of the safety of a certain ingredient, ask a health care professional. Another option is to take a caffeine pill before your workout — they are much less dangerous.

Know your limits…

Number 3

Lifting excessive weight

Why it’s dangerous: Many gym rats constantly try to increase the amount of weight they lift. This can be counterproductive, as it does not allow for complete control performance of the exercise, leading to less than optimal results. Furthermore, lifting weights that are too heavy can cause joint pain and an eventual muscle, ligament or tendon tear.

What to do instead: You should have absolute control of the weight at all times without having to swing it to complete the movement. If you are unable to control the descent of the weight and are simply moving it from start to finish without maintaining proper form, you should reduce the amount you’re lifting.

Number 2

Combining relaxants with stimulants

Why it’s dangerous: To counteract the high heart rate and nervousness associated with stimulant use, many athletes take supplements or drugs to relax or “come down” after a workout. A popular choice is kava kava, a herbal supplement that is a sedative, muscle relaxant, diuretic, and a remedy for nervousness and insomnia. Unfortunately, it is also associated with abnormal liver function or damage. A few deaths have even been reported.

Other athletes will smoke marijuana to relax. In the long run, making your heart rate and blood pressure shoot up and then drop back down on a regular basis can be dangerous, and may even lead to heart attack.

What to do instead: If you feel the need to take a “calming” supplement to counteract the stimulants you are taking, you probably shouldn’t be taking the stimulants in the first place. In any case, avoid combining these two categories.

Number 1

Taking steroids

Why it’s dangerous: Anabolic steroids, the main one being testosterone, are steroids that enhance tissue growth by creating protein. Anabolic steroids — and steroid replacements like DHEA, androstenedione and norandrostenedione — cause many different types of problems.

Less serious side effects include acne, purple or red spots on the body, bad breath, swelling of legs and feet, and yellowing of the skin. Other potential side effects are dizziness, mood swings, premature balding, trembling, nausea, vomiting, high blood pressure, palpitations, cardiovascular disease, aching joints, liver damage, and shortening of final adult height. And let’s not forget testicular shrinkage, pain when urinating, breast development, impotence, and sterility.

What to do instead: Unless these side effects appeal to you, build your muscles the hard way — through training.

be good to your body

Whether you work out sporadically or practically live at the gym, you should be aware of the many dangerous training habits that could lead to injury, or worse. It is important to set realistic goals; don’t attempt to imitate professional bodybuilders or the heaviest lifters at your gym.

When it comes to supplements, keep in mind that there are certain ingredients you can take to enhance your performance and results. But you must be careful, as some can be dangerous and even deadly. Training in the name of “health” has led to some very unhealthy habits in people who take things too far. Don’t risk causing long-term damage for instant results.

See New Zygarde Formes in Animation News from Japan!

The latest season of Pokémon has been announced in Japan. See new Zygarde Formes and a new look for Ash’s Greninja!

In big animation news from Japan, new forms for Zygarde and Ash’s Greninja have been revealed! In the latest season of Pokémon animation, the Legendary Pokémon Zygarde is discovered to have multiple Formes as it develops into the Pokémon you already know…and beyond!

Zygarde Cell

This stage has been identified as the single Cells that make up Zygarde. Cells do not possess any will or thought processes. They’re found scattered throughout the region. Since they can’t use any moves, researchers question whether they can even be called Pokémon!

Zygarde Core

At this stage, this aspect of Zygarde is little more than a part of the Pokémon’s brain. Unlike the Cells, the Cores are self-aware and can communicate with Cells and other Cores via telepathy. When a change occurs in the local region’s ecosystem, Cores have been known to take action.

Zygarde 10% Forme

Zygarde 10% is the Forme that the Zygarde Core takes when it gathers 10% of the Cells nearby. Capable of traveling over 60 mph (100 km/h), it defeats enemies with its sharp fangs and its incredible speed.

Zygarde 50% Forme

This Legendary Pokémon watches over and maintains the local ecosystem. Until recently, this was the only known Forme of Zygarde. In actuality, this Forme only has 50% of the Cells in its structure.

Zygarde Complete Forme

This is the perfect Forme that Zygarde takes when the Core gathers 100% of the Cells. When the ecosystem is under threat, and the Core concludes that the 50% Forme will be unable to deal with it, the Core takes on the Complete Forme. Its power is said to be greater than that of the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal!

Plus, Ash’s Greninja takes on a mysterious new appearance in the latest season! Ash-Greninja is the form that Greninja takes when the bond between it and Ash is raised to the limit. The strength of their bond changes Greninja’s appearance, and it takes on the characteristic look of Ash’s attire. This phenomenon is also said to have happened just once several hundred years ago in the Kalos region, but it remains shrouded in mystery.

The latest Pokémon season begins in Japan on October 29, 2015. Keep checking Pokemon.com for future announcements about Pokémon TV coming to North America and Europe.

How To Use Pain To Raise Your Vibration

If you are a follower of the Law of Attraction, you probably already understand that the key to getting what you want is through feeling happy and joyous.  However, understanding the Law of Attraction often comes at a cost when it comes to dealing with negative emotions, especially pain.

Because we know that feeling good is what gets us what we want, it is natural to begin to develop some fear about pain and other negative feelings. Many of us begin to see pain as a “wrong” feeling that keeps us from having what we want.   Because we’ve defined pain as “wrong,” many of us seek to ignore or avoid it, in order to keep it from lowering our vibrations.

Though this makes logical sense, unfortunately actions to ignore or avoid pain only prevent us from finding vibrational alignment.

This article is timely for me because lately I’ve been dealing with some pain, and I’ve been tempted to run and hide from it.  As a Law of Attraction specialist, at times I feel the pressure to constantly project positive energy-in many ways because I feel it is expected of me (though, of course, I do realize this is a reflection of my personal limiting beliefs). However, expecting constant vibrational alignment is an unrealistic and spiritually toxic approach to living.  Inevitably, this expectation creates greater suffering.

How to start using your pain to raise your vibration

The thing is, you can always reach for better feeling thoughts, but you have to start at the frequency you are at.  You are where you are, and honoring your position in the universe is critical for vibrational ascension.  It’s a bit of a paradox.  When you embrace your pain, you allow yourself to move past it more easily.

I’ll explain this metaphorically:

Let’s say that you were driving to a friend’s house, and you really want to get there because there’s a great party going on, everyone is going to be there and it’s going to be a great time.  Now, on the way to your friend’s house, you come up to a  giant tree that has fallen across the road, making it impossible to pass.  What do you do?

Do you turn the car around and go home to avoid having to deal with the situation altogether?  Probably not, because then you’ll miss the party.  This only makes the bad situation worse.

Do you ignore the tree, and keep plowing ahead?   Probably not, because this will cause you to run into the tree and destroy your car.  Additionally, you still probably won’t make it to the party.  This option also makes the bad situation worse.

Do you get upset for a moment about this obstacle, but then accept the fact that there is a tree in the middle of the road, and then deal with the task of finding an alternative route? Most of us would likely take this last option.  When we are presented with a physical obstacle, we know that although it’s upsetting, we must accept the situation and deal with it.  This is how we find an alternative route to get us where we want to go.

We know that ignoring the obstacle will cause us to run directly into it, and we know that if we avoid the situation altogether and give up, we will never get where we want to go.

However, while most of us generally understand that it is best to accept and deal with physical obstacles, often when we are presented with emotional obstacles (like pain) we take a different approach.

So, on our quest to raise our vibrations (get to the party), when we encounter pain (the tree) we refuse to accept it.  Instead, we either try to “force” ourselves to be happy (by ignoring our pain and plowing directly into the tree) or we throw our hands up in the air and give up (resolving that we simply won’t make it to the party).

The truth is, in life there are going to be emotional obstacles that present themselves, and they often come in the form of pain.  Attempting to ignore pain or avoiding a painful situation altogether only prevents us from finding the vibrational alignment we are seeking.

How can you raise your vibration when feeling angry, sad, anxious, or hurt?

It’s a simple answer.   Just embrace your pain and make peace with it.   If it’s there, allow it to be there. If you are experiencing pain right now in your life, you may have just noticed a shift towards peace inside you.  By accepting, you stop creating extra tension and suffering for yourself.

You can’t “will” the pain out of your life any more than you can move a giant tree out of the road with your bare hands.  The only thing you can do is accept this temporary obstacle, and then trust that you have what it takes to find your way past it,  just like you would trust yourself to find your friend’s house despite the obstacle.

Understanding this, the next time you feel pain, frustration or sadness, acknowledge it and then hang in there.   Cry if you need to.  Be sad for as long as it feels like you need to be sad.

It’s good to remind ourselves that when we avoid or ignore our pain, what we are really telling ourselves is that we are wrong to feel the way we feel.  This creates guilt and/or shame about our emotions, and only amplifies the negativity of our pain.

Instead, when we accept our pain, we let ourselves off of the hook for being human and we accept ourselves.

Acceptance is a soothing feeling, and therefore this action (in and of itself) moves us closer toward vibrational alignment.  By acknowledging and feeling our pain without judgement, we ultimately comfort ourselves.  In doing this, we begin to raise our vibrations (despite the pain!), and this takes the power out of pain’s hands and places it back into our own.

So, remember, embrace your pain!  Pain happens to the best of us.  Feel it as long as you need to feel it, and allow it to be what it is without criticizing it or yourself.  Through acceptance, you will transform your pain, empower yourself, and ultimately find your way back into the light.

World’s Best Lasagna

It takes a little work, but it is worth it. Definitely worth it!

  • 3/4 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 egg

             Prep Cook Ready In

In a Dutch oven, cook sausage, ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until well browned. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Season with sugar, basil, fennel seeds, Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons parsley. Simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles, and rinse with cold water. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

To assemble, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce. Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with a third of mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil: to prevent sticking, either spray foil with cooking spray, or make sure the foil does not touch the cheese.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake an additional 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.

Top 10 Best Anime Series

What defines a great show? Does the series need great story, does it need cool characters or good soundtracks, what about atmosphere or animations? I myself have always been a fan of good endings.

  1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009)

What defines a great show? Does the series need great story, does it need cool characters or good soundtracks, what about atmosphere or animations? I myself have always been a fan of good endings.
Do you ever ask yourself “what defines greatness?”, cause if you do, I know for a fact that you haven’t seen Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood yet, because FMAB masters all of these things almost flawlessly.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a series that strives for perfection. You can look all you want for flaws, but you won’t find them easily. Though animations, characters, soundtracks etc. are great, I feel like i should focus more on telling you about the story, as the story is thing that distinguishes FMA:B most from other series. Because the rarity of a great story is so extreme, and this might be your only chance to see something close to perfection.
Not only is it unique and original, but it constantly pops up some kind of new plot twist, so you can never truly predict what happens next.

FMA:B would probably be the only show that never left its original plot. There were some side stories, but if they first started on a side story, they would at least tangle it up with the main story and follow the story up to the end.

If you have seen Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) and consider watching this because you’re not sure if they will be almost the same, you’re probably an idiot. This is on 1st place and FMA is on 13th. If that isn’t telling you enough I can go closer into details.
First and foremost is FMA:B surpassing FMA in almost every way. While Brotherhood also have these small improvements like better animation, better english voice actors, cooler fights etc. the story is in a another dimension. The difference in the story is enormous even though the first 12 episodes of Brotherhood is only a recap of the original FMA.

And for all of you non-believers from Fullmetal Alchemist (2003), do not worry! I know you have been crying yourself to sleep throughout the previous show begging god for mercy. Well your prayers have been heard, because Winry’s boobs will randomly get bigger in some episode after episode 25. (They thought I wouldn’t notice… I showed them alright *evil laugh*).

Anyways… A great show that needs to be seen. I would recommend watching the original FMA first because of some inquiries that tends to be in a few count of episodes in FMA:B. Also the first 12 episodes of Brotherhood is kind of a recap of what happened the first (ca) 1-28 episodes in FMA. Even though they have made it possible to be seen without seeing FMA.

FMA: Brotherhood: Dub vs Sub
Dub: FMA:B has one of the best dubs i’ve ever heard and probably ever created. Not only are the voices spot on, and fit most of the characters perfectly, but the voice-acting itself is brilliant.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 is a fantasy, mecha which has quite many similarities with Death Note.
Both animes evolves around a genius main characters who gains a supernatural power which they decides to use to make an utopian world with. Also they do it while hiding their true identities.

Despite their similarities I would say, Code Geass comes on top for a few reasons. First and foremost because Death Note had some average 12 last episodes instead of quitting on episode 25 and in contrast of this Code Geass: LOTR R2 has one of my favorite endings of all time.
Other than that they are both great shows. Neither Code Geass and Death Note seizes to amaze me, and the joy of finding out what happens next is also a common feature they share.

I actually favored season 2 over season 1, and I know there is a lot of general discussion about this. Though season 2 got som sloppy writing here and there, it was still better because of the superior action scenes and the amazing ending. In addition to that, there were still great writing in first several episodes and the last couple of episodes, with just a few average episodes somewhere in the middle.

3. Death Note (2006)

280full (2)

Death note was the first anime I saw and I am really happy about starting my long list of animes with something this great. I also think that Death Note is the guaranteed best “first anime” to see. The reason for that is because of there’s almost no blood, no random fan-service (which may scare some people off) and no fcking tsunderes, but it’s still a thriller keeping you on the edge of your seat at all times. This is great fun and I still haven’t met anyone who didn’t like the first 25 episodes.

Death note is a thriller about the genius high-school student, Light Yagami aka. Kira, who finds this mysterious diary (Death Note), which can kill people. Light decides to use this diary to kill all evil and make a utopian world without bad guys.

As killers, thieves, prisoners start dying in jails and on the street all by heart-attacks, the police suspects that there is a serial killer doing the work. They have no clues and can’t find any leads that would lead them to the killer so they call in their greatest detective. The detective they call ‘L’. And This is were the fun part starts…
L is a genius. This epic battle between them brings humor (mostly from L, who is the biggest troll ever), mystery and it will keep you guessing their moves until the end of the show.

L is my personal favorite character of all time.
Baccano! had the best characters all in all (every single character was awesome), Vash the Stampede from Trigun was epic, Guts was badass and there are a lot of other great character, but L is my favorite.

This would be higher up on the list if it ended where it should have ended… Won’t spoil anything 😉

4. Clannad: After Story (2008)

Clannad: After Story was the 2nd anime I saw, and what an excellent 2nd anime it was. The first season which offered mediocre comedy, sadness and enjoyment, built up by 4 average stories about the side characters, suddenly grew so much and became this masterpiece of perfection.
No other anime will bring emotions like After Story and you will never feel the same way again.

Like in the 1st season the show is divided into 4 stories, though in this season there is a main story, which starts around episode 9, when the last of the three other stories finishes.
Now the story finally focuses Tomoya, who has been the protagonist from that start off. We will see his life After High-school when the friend group has split apart to each their destinations, Nigisa (his girlfriend) is repeating the senior year (again) and he moves out and gets a job.
Here is where his hardest challenges in his life begins. While one tragedy after another hits him, he ends up in a depression. He finds his way out of the depression, but just months after, a new tragedy appears.
The story is incredibly touching and should not be missed by anyone.

5. Steins;Gate (2011)

280full (4)

Loved it from the first episode!
Many people are complaining about the show’s starting up a bit slow, and they are probably right. There is very little progress in the plot the first episodes and the real plot doesn’t really start to get going before episode 12. This doesn’t matter at all though, each and every episode (for me at least) before episode 12 were great. We get to hear Okabin’s awesome laughter (which probably would be enough to entertain me the entire show), we get to meet all the great characters and they’ll introduce us to the plot.

I’ll admit that the first episodes weren’t the reason for it’s high spot on the list, because the greatness of the show doesn’t show it’s original form before episode twelve when Okabe performs his first time-travel. By episode twelve your heart should already be trying to beat its way out of your chest.
Onwards from this point you will probably love the series.
The ending was good, and imo, the OVA just made it better. Remember to watch episode 25 people!

Another thing I truly love about this show is the EPIC intro! This intro even tops Baccano’s intro, something I hardly thought was possible..
A great anime which is highly recommended if you’re looking for new animes to watch.

6. Monster (2004)

280full (5)

Well… I guess I should write something about this as well since I have placed it so high up on the list.
Just so its clear though, everything from Monster (2nd) to Clannad: After Story (9th) is equally great imo. This is just another 9 out of 10.

What I like: Cleaverly written, intense moments, something different than the typical anime (which most of my highly rated series are), seinen :3

7. Baccano! (2007)

280full (6)

Baccano! is one of the best and most original shows I have ever seen. This show is so brilliant, that when I was done watching it, I instantly started to re-watch it, too see the show all over again, just to ease my hype a little. In all honesty, this series is the fucking definition of awesome!
The plot, dialogues, scenes are all brilliantly performed, but one thing was even better…

The characters: The characters in this show are amazing! Their personalities are all so different and fun, and that’s even with the big cast they have! A good main character in an anime is actually pretty standard (at least based on the animes i’ve seen), but in this show, every fucking character is so extremely well made! In this show, the writers have managed to create better characters in 16 episodes than every 13, 25 or 50+ episodes anime i’ve seen so far (Averagely per character that is).
Not a single characters is boring or uncreative, but If I had to choose my absolute favorite characters, it would probably be Isaac and Miria.

Isaac and Miria are funny, thoughtful and actually quite skilled robbers. Not only are they performing the strangest kinds of robberies, but they also dresses up in costumes every time. One of their plans was to rob a whole museum, but as that was proved impossible, they stole the entrance door instead… so that no one could enter.(not many robbers like that these days oO).
They have many great quotes and they don’t disappoint in a single episode.

Note: The show may seem like a total mess and a clusterfuck in the first few episodes. You may have a hard time remembering who is who, who belong to witch timeline, who are immortal, who are not etc.
Though you will be pretty confused, DO NOT FEAR, JUST KEEP WATCHING!!
Believe me, when you’re at the end they have managed to tangle up all your previous questions and frustrations and given you the answers you were looking for.

8. Berserk (1997)

280full (7)

Berserk: The badass medieval anime about Guts the swordsman. His journey starts early on with joining a mercenary group called “The Hawks” and meeting Griffith; another important character. In the series we will see Guts helping Griffith achieving his dream about ruling the world.

One of the reasons for Berserk’s high spot on this list would be the incredible, unbeatable atmosphere. The soundtracks, visual surroundings, the dialogues etc. really succeeds in creating a rather dark and grim show, which is good, which is especially cool considering that i hate too grim shows…

The character depth and development is great. You’ll get to know the characters, their stories and their goals. This especially goes for the two main characters, Guts and Griffith.

Guts is a really epic character. No superpowers, no supernatural strength, no guru raised him, and despite all this, we still end up with one of the strongest, best and most fearless sword fighters in any anime so far. But Guts actually deserves these amazing fighting skills. Every episode Guts is training. Training to improve and grow strong. He has an extreme determination and along the journey we will witness him become stronger.

Guts is the ONLY character i have ever seen who has taken every single one of his opponents without any struggle (…fu. Demons don’t count).
Few can take this fighter 1v1 and he deserves a spot high up in best/most badass characters of all time.

This anime is a few steps from perfect though. The animations varies, but is mostly basic old school drawn, with some moments being better than others. Also the ending was quite annoying/bad. The manga continued, but the series stopped. The ending was actually quite random without any continuation that explained further on what was happening. At the end you will be confused, but happy for seeing one of the best animes ever!

How Could We Be Anything but Joyful?

Joy! For the believer, this passage is charged with the realization that God’s love is everlasting, that it has been God’s attitude toward us from the very beginning, that it remains so now, and that it will be his attitude toward us forever. For the Jews of the Northern Kingdom, Jeremiah is expressing the joy that they felt as they traversed the wilderness on their way back home from the countries they had been exiled to by the Assyrians. The Lord had come to them there in the wilderness to guide them back to Jerusalem. This return from their Babylonian captivity was like a second Exodus to them.

Are we not always in the wilderness? Are we not on the Exodus journey every day of our lives? And is it not our experience that God’s love is always with us, especially in the hard times? Christians have every reason to be a people of joy. We have seen the love of God in the flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. We have seen the depth of that love suspended on the cross. Though we walk in the valley of the shadow of death we fear no evil because we know that God was, is, and always will be with us. He is with us, not just as a powerful presence to guide us, but as the very force of Divine love itself. It is this everlasting love that God has for us that was the force behind everything in creation. Creation was an act of Love par excellence. That self-giving love of God humbly took on our humanity, suffered, died, and rose again, so that our Exodus from the slavery of sin and death would be final and complete. It is that Divine love that remains with us in his Spirit, guiding us, supporting us, teaching us, and inspiring us with his grace every day of our lives. Yes. We are a people who are filled with great joy, because we know that we are loved with an everlasting love.

Though we are sometimes lost in the desert of doubt we are never alone. God watches over us and waits patiently. If our heart, worn out with the struggles of life, turns its attention toward him, even for a fleeting moment, he is there beside us in an instant. He, like the Prodigal Father, embraces us in his loving arms and does not just forgive our transgression, but forgets them entirely. The Apostle, John, tells us in his first letter that, “God is love.” (1 John 4:16) Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, that love is patient and kind, that it does not brood over wrongdoing, and that it bears and endures all things and that it never fails. How could we be anything but joyful? For all of this we give joyful thanks to our loving God.

Lord, lead us through the wildernesses of our lives. Increase our awareness of your love and fill our hearts to overflowing with the joy of that knowledge. We are your people and you have set us free. Help us to live our lives in a manner that reveals your love for us and for all of your children. Make us your instruments of joy in this wounded world. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen!
